This role is ideal for a motivated seller with a foundation in IT infrastructure, managed services, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, and predictive analytics—and a passion for solving healthcare-specific challenges including HIPAA compliance, EHR interoperability, and protection of PHI.
You will accelerate revenue growth by building executive-level relationships across clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders, crafting solutions that improve outcomes and efficiency, and partnering closely with technology vendors and internal teams. Success looks like consistent quota attainment, disciplined pipeline management, and demonstrable expansion of Silex’s healthcare customer base and partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand existing healthcare accounts to drive revenue growth, focusing on CIO, CTO, CISO, CMIO, CNIO, and compliance stakeholders.
- Prospect and create new opportunities across providers, payers, IDNs, ambulatory networks, and life sciences organizations throughout the Southeast Region.
- Present solutions and value propositions to technical and business audiences, mapping capabilities to clinical workflows, revenue cycle, and operational outcomes.
- Assist with customer support escalations to ensure a best-in-class experience that safeguards PHI and meets healthcare SLAs.
- Attend product training and maintain relevant sales certifications aligned to healthcare solutions, cloud platforms, and security ecosystems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and technology partners to drive joint value in EHR modernization, data protection, and analytics.
- Plan and execute field events, user groups, and conference activities at healthcare industry events (e.g., HIMSS, ViVE, state hospital associations).
- Drive social media presence and thought leadership in healthcare IT, cybersecurity, and data interoperability.
- Generate leads via cold calling, email marketing, appointment setting, and partner co-selling motions.
- Create quotations, proposals, reports, and sales collateral that align to clinical, compliance, and financial objectives.
- Forecast accurately and manage a disciplined pipeline from lead to close using structured sales methodologies.
- Contribute creative ideas and initiatives that accelerate healthcare sales success and brand presence across the region.
Focus Areas:
- Secure infrastructure and managed services tailored to HIPAA, HITRUST, and healthcare risk frameworks.
- Data protection and cyber resilience for EHR environments (e.g., Epic, Cerner), imaging archives, and clinical systems.
- Cloud modernization, disaster recovery, and cost optimization for healthcare workloads.
- Interoperability and data integration leveraging FHIR and HL7 standards for analytics and care coordination.
- AI and predictive analytics supporting population health, capacity planning, and operational efficiency.
- Medical device and network security strategies that reduce exposure and improve patient safety.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, such as 5+ years in IT manufacturer or VAR/channel sales with healthcare customers.
- Proven success selling IT solutions across data storage, security, networking, consulting, virtualization, and software/hardware in healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain executive-level relationships across clinical and IT leadership.
- Established track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Experience crafting healthcare technology solutions that address clinical, compliance, and business challenges.
- Strong aptitude and desire to continually learn new healthcare technologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management using modern CRM tools.
- Self-disciplined, motivated, and comfortable operating with minimal supervision in a dynamic market.
