The Jenkins CI/CD Engineer will play a crucial role in automating and improving the development and release processes, ensuring that our software solutions are delivered with high quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and DevOps practices, with extensive experience in using Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design, set up, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. 
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes for multiple software products across different environments. 
  • Work closely with the development and operations teams to integrate new technologies and practices into the existing infrastructure. 
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for performance and scalability. 
  • Ensure the security of the CI/CD pipeline and adhere to best practices and company policies. 
  • Maintain documentation for CI/CD processes, tools, and configurations. 
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in CI/CD and DevOps practices, and recommend improvements to the team. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience with Jenkins and other CI/CD tools. 
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies. 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy). 
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). 
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. 
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is desirable. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. 
  • Strong communication skills and ability to document processes and configurations clearly.
