Cybersecurity
Silex assesses your security posture, designs the controls, and supplies and integrates the platforms, from Zero Trust access to security analytics. We stay to support and tune them as your environment and the threats against it change.
Six control areas
- Zero Trust and SASE
- Identity and privileged access
- Endpoint and managed detection
- Exposure management
- Security analytics and SIEM
- Threat intelligence and data security
How the controls fit together
Six control areas around what you protect.
Each area covers a different path an attacker can take. Silex designs them to share signals, so an alert in one area informs the response in the others.
Zero Trust and SASE
Users and devices reach each application through a policy-checked connection instead of a flat network, wherever they work.
Zscaler · Netskope · Palo Alto Networks
Identity and privileged access
Every user signs in once with strong authentication, and administrator credentials are vaulted and monitored.
Ping Identity · CyberArk
Endpoint protection and managed detection
Endpoint agents stop and contain threats on laptops and servers, and a managed detection partner monitors and responds to alerts.
CrowdStrike · SentinelOne · Arctic Wolf
Exposure and vulnerability management
Continuous scanning finds vulnerable systems and unmanaged devices, and ranks them by the risk they carry.
Tenable · Armis · Tanium
Security analytics and SIEM
Logs from every control flow into one place, where detections run and investigations start.
Splunk, a Cisco company
Threat intelligence and data security
Threat intelligence shows which threats target your industry, and data security finds and classifies sensitive data wherever it is stored.
Recorded Future · Cyera
Detect, respond, recover
Prevention is one part of the plan.
The controls raise the alert. Response contains the threat. Recovery brings clean systems back when an attack gets through.
Detect
Endpoint, identity, and network controls raise alerts, and the SIEM correlates them into incidents your team can act on.
Respond
Your team and managed detection partners contain the threat. Agentic operations can draft the triage and gather security evidence for a person to approve.
Recover
When an attack gets through, an isolated recovery environment restores clean systems that are validated before they return to production.
How we engage
From assessment to controls your team runs.
- 01
Assess
Silex reviews your current controls against NIST CSF 2.0 and the six control areas, and ranks the gaps by risk.
- 02
Design
A control architecture covers access policy, identity, detection, and logging, reviewed with your security and network teams.
- 03
Supply and integrate
Silex supplies the platforms through the channel you already buy from and integrates them with your identity provider and SIEM.
- 04
Operate and tune
Silex engineers support the platforms and tune policies and detections, and managed detection partners monitor alerts.
- 05
Transfer
Runbooks and structured knowledge transfer move day-to-day administration to your team on your schedule.
Frameworks
Designs mapped to the frameworks you report against.
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0
- NIST SP 800-207 Zero Trust Architecture
- HIPAA Security Rule
- CIS Critical Security Controls
Vendor-neutral
We recommend the platform that fits.
Silex supplies and supports more than 150 platforms. We recommend the one that fits your requirements and your team, including when that means a vendor we do not resell, and we integrate it with the controls you already run.

Questions buyers ask
Questions
Where should we start?
Most engagements start with an assessment of your current controls against NIST CSF 2.0. Silex maps what you have to the six control areas, identifies the gaps that carry the most risk, and delivers a prioritized roadmap.
Is Silex vendor-neutral?
Yes. Silex supplies and supports more than 150 platforms, and we recommend the one that fits your requirements, including when that means a vendor we do not resell.
How does SASE differ from a traditional VPN?
A VPN places a user on the network and trusts the connection after sign-in. SASE checks identity, device posture, and policy on every connection to each application, and delivers the security controls from the cloud, close to where people work.
Do you provide managed detection and response?
Silex designs and integrates endpoint and detection platforms and delivers managed detection and response with partners such as Arctic Wolf. Silex engineers stay involved in integration, tuning, and recovery planning.
How does security connect to recovery?
Prevention does not stop every attack. Silex connects detection and response to an isolated recovery environment, so you can recover clean systems after an attack, not only restore backups.
